BMW i3 Quick Install


4-Head.jpg

Quick no-holes install of a Yaesu FT-8800 in a 2017 BMW i3 'Rex'. Radio is set under driver's seat, initially powered by arm rest 'lighter' plug until I get the right taps for the fuse panel for a more direct line. 'Test' installed the Tram 1191 glass mount to verify no negative impact in metal in the glass window. Tuned well 146 and 445. Good enough for the short commute amid several Silicon Valley area mountain top repeaters.
